The tradition of brewing in Nová Paka dates back to the first half of the 13th century, short time after the foundation of the town.
The foundation stone of the brewery in Nová Paka was laid in 1871, the whole building was erected during the first year and the first batch of beer was brewed.
Since the foundation of the brewery, the production of beer has never ceased.
At present, the joint-stock company Pivovar Nová Paka (Brewery of Nová Paka, Co) has a staff of 50 employees.
You can find it outside the area in all the ends of the world, as the Brewery of Nova Paka is strongly focused on export (export makes about 60 % of the production).
Traditional markets for our beer are mainly the United States, then the Baltic States, Poland, Israel, China, South Korea, Finland, Slovakia and Canada.
